Request a Video Design Review

Follow these steps during the prescription checkout process to add a narrated video to your order:

1. Select Design Preview: 
   • During the checkout process for your prescription, locate the Design Preview section.
2. Enable Preview: 
   • Select Yes, Add Design Preview.
3. Add Video Request: 
   • Select Get a Narrated Video by Lab Tech.

Once requested, the lab technician will record a one-minute explainer video showing and explaining the design decisions for the specific case. The video is delivered simultaneously with the Design Preview and is viewable in the Dandy Portal.

How to watch a Video Design Review

Access the Doctor Portal

1. Navigate to the Dandy Doctor Portal at practice.meetdandy.com.
2. Enter your login credentials to access the dashboard.
3. Select the Orders tab from the main navigation menu.

Locate the Specific Order

1. Browse the Order List page to find the patient name associated with the Video Design Review request.
2. Click the patient’s name to open the Order Details page for that specific case.

Open the Design Preview

1. On the Order Details page, locate the Open Design Preview button.
2. Select Open Design Preview to enter the design workflow.
3. Note that Video Design Reviews are published directly within this Design Preview workflow.

Play the Video Design Review

1. Once the Design Preview workflow opens, click the Video Design Review tab.
2. Locate the available video within this tab.
3. Press the Play button to begin the Video Design Review.

1. When will the Video Design Review be available? 
   • The Video Design Review becomes available at the same time as the next Design Preview. Both assets are published together within the standard Design Preview workflow.
2. Which cases support Video Design Reviews?
   • Video Design Reviews are currently available for the following case types:
     • Crowns
     • Bridges
     • Implants
     • Physical Wax-ups
     • Full Dentures
     • Flexi Partials
3. What do I do if I need another design revision?
   • Reject the current design to request additional changes. If you need to talk to your technician directly, schedule a Live Design Review.
