Partial dentures should not be used if you have any allergies to acrylic, plastic,/or certain metals. Partial dentures should not be used in patients who have severe gum disease.

5) Cleaning and Care
Directions for Use
- To ensure proper use of acrylic partial dentures, follow these steps:
- Ensure that the partial denture is clean and free of any debris.
- Rinse the patient’s mouth with warm water before inserting the partial denture.
- Gently place the partial denture in the mouth, and use your fingers to guide it into place.
- Avoid using excessive force or pushing the partial denture too far.
- Instruct the patient to gently bite down on the partial denture to ensure proper fit and stability.
- Use carbon articulation paper to adjust any heavy occlusion points.
- Provide specific instructions to the patient on how long to wear it each day and when to remove it.
Cleaning instructions
- Dandy recommends cleaning your partial dentures daily before and after every use. Immediately after removal, use warm water (not to exceed 45°C/113°F) and soap to remove remaining saliva and debris from your partial dentures.
Avoid
- Soaking your partial dentures in any liquid for longer than the manufacturer of the cleaning solution recommends.
- Soaking your partial dentures in hard water. Over time, exposure to tap water containing elevated chlorine levels could tarnish the metal.
- Do not immerse your partial dentures in water exceeding 45°C/113°F to prevent warping.
- Use only approved cleaners for meta/acrylic/flexiblel partial dentures and avoid abrasive toothpastes, as they can damage the device's appearance.
- Soaking your partial dentures in a bleach-based cleaning solution this may tarnish them.
Do
- Dispose of the cleaning solution after every use. Rinse your partial dentures well before use.
6) Storage
Store the partial dentures in a clean, dry place when not in use. Avoid exposing partial dentures to excessive heat or pressure, as this may cause warping or other damage.
7) Expected Life / Service
Partial dentures are designed to last several years with proper care and maintenance. They should contact the dental practice for evaluation and repair if dentures become damaged or lose fit.

5) Nettoyage et entretien
Mode d’emploi
- Pour garantir une utilisation correcte des prothèses partielles en acrylique, suivre les étapes suivantes.
- S’assurer que la prothèse partielle est propre et exempte de tout débris.
- Rincer la bouche du patient à l’eau tiède avant d’insérer la prothèse partielle.
- Placer délicatement la prothèse partielle dans la bouche et la guider avec les doigts pour la mettre en place.
- Éviter d’exercer une force excessive ou de pousser la prothèse partielle trop loin.
- Demander au patient de mordre doucement dessus afin de vérifier qu&elle est bien ajustée et stable.
- Utiliser du papier à articuler au carbone pour corriger les points d’occlusion importants.
- Donner au patient des instructions précises sur la durée quotidienne du port et le moment où il doit l’enlever.
Instructions de nettoyage
- Dandy recommande de nettoyer vos prothèses dentaires partielles quotidiennement avant et après chaque utilisation. Immédiatement après le retrait, utiliser de l’eau tiède (ne dépassant pas 45°C/113°F) et du savon pour éliminer les résidus de salive et de débris de vos prothèses dentaires partielles.
À ne pas faire
- Tremper vos prothèses partielles dans un liquide plus longtemps que ne le recommande le fabricant de la solution de nettoyage.
- Tremper vos prothèses dentaires partielles dans de l’eau calcaire. Au fil du temps, l’exposition à l’eau du robinet contenant des niveaux élevés de chlore pourrait ternir le métal.
- Ne pas immerger pas vos prothèses dentaires partielles dans de l’eau dépassant 45°C/113°F pour éviter toute déformation.
- Utiliser uniquement des produits de nettoyage homologués pour les prothèses partielles en métal, en acrylique ou souples, et éviter les dentifrices abrasifs, car ils peuvent altérer l’aspect de la prothèse.

5) Reinigung und Pflege
Gebrauchsanleitung
- Um die korrekte Anwendung von Teilprothesen aus Acrylat zu gewährleisten, befolgen Sie diese Schritte:
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Teilprothese sauber und frei von Rückständen ist.
- Spülen Sie den Mund des Patienten vor dem Einsetzen der Teilprothese mit warmem Wasser aus.
- Setzen Sie die Teilprothese vorsichtig in den Mund ein und führen Sie sie mit den Fingern in die richtige Position.
- Drücken Sie die Teilprothese niemals mit Gewalt oder zu fest in den Kiefer.
- Bitten Sie den Patienten, vorsichtig auf die Teilprothese zu beißen, um eine korrekte Passform und Stabilität zu gewährleisten.
- Verwenden Sie Kohle-Okklusionspapier, um zu starke Okklusionspunkte (Frühkontakte) einzuschleifen.
- Geben Sie dem Patienten genaue Anweisungen zur täglichen Tragedauer und dazu, wann das Produkt herauszunehmen ist.
Reinigungsanleitung
- Dandy empfiehlt, Ihre Teilprothesen täglich sowie vor und nach jedem Gebrauch zu reinigen. Verwenden Sie direkt nach dem Herausnehmen warmes Wasser (nicht über 45 °C / 113 °F) und Seife, um verbleibenden Speichel und Rückstände von Ihrer Teilprothese zu entfernen.
Was Sie vermeiden sollten:
- Das Einweichen Ihrer Teilprothesen in eine Flüssigkeit über die vom Hersteller der Reinigungslösung empfohlene Dauer hinaus.
- Das Einweichen Ihrer Teilprothesen in hartem Wasser. Im Laufe der Zeit kann der Kontakt mit chlorhaltigem Leitungswasser zum Anlaufen des Metalls führen.
- Legen Sie Ihre Teilprothesen nicht in Wasser mit einer Temperatur von über 45 °C / 113 °F ein, um ein Verziehen zu vermeiden.
- Verwenden Sie ausschließlich zugelassene Reinigungsmittel für Metall-, Acrylat- und flexible Teilprothesen und vermeiden Sie abrasive Zahnpastas, da diese das Erscheinungsbild des Produkts beschädigen können.
- Wenn Sie Ihren Prothesen in einer chlorhaltigen Reinigungslösung einweichen, kann dies dazu führen, dass die Prothesen anlaufen.
Was Sie tun sollten:

6) Lagerung

- Avoid using excessive force or pushing the partial denture too far.
- Instruct the patient to gently bite down on the partial denture to ensure proper fit and stability.
- Use carbon articulation paper to adjust any heavy occlusion points.
- Provide specific instructions to the patient on how long to wear it each day and when to remove it.
Cleaning instructions
- Dandy recommends cleaning your partial dentures daily before and after every use. Immediately after removal, use warm water (not to exceed 45°C/113°F) and soap to remove remaining saliva and debris from your partial dentures.
Avoid
- Soaking your partial dentures in any liquid for longer than the manufacturer of the cleaning solution recommends.
- Soaking your partial dentures in hard water. Over time, exposure to tap water containing elevated chlorine levels could tarnish the metal.
- Do not immerse your partial dentures in water exceeding 45°C/113°F to prevent warping.
- Use only approved cleaners for meta/acrylic/flexiblel partial dentures and avoid abrasive toothpastes, as they can damage the device's appearance.
- Soaking your partial dentures in a bleach-based cleaning solution this may tarnish them.
