3) Contraindications

Do not use in patients with:

5) Cleaning and Care

To ensure proper use of final dentures, dental professionals and patients should follow these steps:

Insertion Protocol:

• Clean oral tissues with a soft-bristle brush or rinse
• Hold the denture by the edges; insert using a gentle rocking motion
• If it is a partial denture, gently place it in the mouth and use your fingers to guide it into position.
• Avoid using excessive force or pushing the partial denture too far.
• Instruct the patient to bite and swallow to seat
• If it is a partial denture, instruct the patient to gently bite down on the partial denture to ensure proper fit and stability.
• Use adhesive if retention is insufficient
• Use carbon articulation paper to adjust any heavy occlusion points.

Cleaning and Care ** DAILY CLEANING

• Dandy recommends cleaning your dentures daily before and after every use. Immediately after removal, use warm water (not to exceed 45°C/113°F) and dishwashing soap to remove remaining saliva and debris from the device.
• Only use soft, antibacterial dish soap (liquid)
• Do not use flavored or scented soaps
• Do not use soaps with heavy dyes and colors

USING CLEANING AGENTS

• For periodic debris removal and maintenance, use a soft-bristle brush to clean the inside of your appliance. The denture should be cleaned with antibacterial denture cleaning solutions like Polident and Efferdent. These cleaners are designed for use in brief sessions of 10–15 minutes. Always make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for proper use.

Do not use:

• Avoid immersing the denture in, or cleaning it with, any of the following substances: sodium hypochlorite (chlorine bleach), hydrogen peroxide, mouthwash, or alcohol products. Using these can lead to discoloration and damage to the material.

6) Storage

When not in use, store final dentures in a clean, dry place. Avoid exposing the dentures to excessive heat or pressure, which may cause warping or other damage.

7) Expected Life / Service

Final dentures are designed to last for several years with proper care and maintenance. Patients should contact their treating dentist/practice for evaluation and repair if dentures become damaged or lose their fit.

Report suspected serious incidents associated with this device to:

3) Contraindicaciones

5) Limpieza y cuidado

Para garantizar el uso adecuado de las prótesis dentales finales, los profesionales dentales y los pacientes deben seguir estos pasos:

Protocolo de inserción:

• Limpie los tejidos orales con un cepillo de cerdas suaves o mediante enjuague
• Sujete la prótesis por los bordes e insértela con un suave movimiento de balanceo.
• Si se trata de una prótesis parcial, colóquela suavemente en la boca y guíela con los dedos hasta su posición.
• Evite aplicar una fuerza excesiva o empujar demasiado la prótesis parcial.
• Indique al paciente que muerda y trague para asentarla.
• Si se trata de una prótesis parcial, indique al paciente que muerda suavemente para asegurar un ajuste y una estabilidad adecuados.
• Utilice adhesivo si la retención es insuficiente.
• Utilice papel de articular para ajustar los puntos de oclusión prematuros.

Limpieza y cuidado ** LIMPIEZA DIARIA

• Dandy recomienda limpiar las prótesis dentales a diario, antes y después de cada uso. Inmediatamente después de retirarla, utilice agua tibia (sin superar los 45 °C/113 °F) y jabón lavavajillas para eliminar del dispositivo los restos de saliva y residuos.
• Utilice únicamente jabón lavavajillas líquido, suave y antibacteriano.
• No utilice jabones aromatizados o perfumados.
• No utilice jabones con colorantes intensos.

USO DE AGENTES DE LIMPIEZA

• Para la eliminación periódica de residuos y el mantenimiento, utilice un cepillo de cerdas suaves para limpiar la parte interna del aparato. La prótesis dental debe limpiarse con soluciones limpiadoras antibacterianas para prótesis, como Polident o Efferdent. Estos limpiadores están diseñados para utilizarse en sesiones breves de 10 a 15 minutos. Asegúrese siempre de seguir las instrucciones del fabricante para un uso adecuado.

No utilice:

• Evite sumergir la prótesis dental o limpiarla con cualquiera de las siguientes sustancias: hipoclorito de sodio (lejía con cloro), peróxido de hidrógeno, enjuague bucal o productos con alcohol. Su uso puede provocar decoloración y dañar el material.

6) Almacenamiento

Cuando no se utilicen, guarde las prótesis dentales definitivas en un lugar limpio y seco. Evite exponer las prótesis dentales a un calor o presión excesivos, lo que puede causar deformaciones u otros daños.

7) Vida esperada / Servicio

Las prótesis dentales definitivas están diseñadas para durar varios años con un cuidado y mantenimiento adecuados. Los pacientes deben ponerse en contacto con su dentista o clínica dental para su evaluación y reparación si la prótesis dental se daña o pierde ajuste.

8) Notificación de incidentes / Reclamaciones

Comunique cualquier sospecha de incidente grave relacionado con este producto a:

9) Eliminación

• La eliminación de prótesis dentales suele requerir su gestión como residuo biosanitario regulado o como residuo general, a menudo a través de gestores especializados para su incineración o eliminación segura en vertedero.
• No los deseche nunca en la basura convencional sin comprobar antes la normativa local aplicable
• Residuos de riesgo biológico/infecciosos: Trate las prótesis dentales usadas o no reclamadas como residuos biopeligrosos debido a la posible presencia de saliva o sangre; utilice bolsas rojas y transportistas autorizados.
• Incineración: Un método común para la destrucción final.
• Recuperación de metales: Si la prótesis dental contiene metales preciosos (oro/plata), devuélvala a un laboratorio dental o a un refinador de chatarra para su reciclaje, ya que puede resultar rentable y ayuda a prevenir la contaminación.
• Confidencialidad: Tache o destruya la información del paciente presente en las cajas y bases de laboratorio antes de desecharlas.

2) Description du dispositif / Caractéristiques principales

• Dispositif sur mesure, specific au patient, fabriqué selon les prescriptions des professionnels dentaires et les données d’entrée numériques.
• Paramétrage : Les prothèses dentaires Dandy sont des prothèses amovibles destinées à remplacer les dents naturelles manquantes et les structures buccodentaires associées. Elles sont indiquées pour les patients en édentement total ou partiel nécessitant une restauration prothétique.

3) Contre-indications

Ne pas utiliser chez les patients présentant :

• Maladie parodontale non contrôlée
• Résorption sévère de la crête osseuse résiduelle
• Lésions buccodentaires non traitées
• Hypersensibilité connue aux matériaux à base d’acrylique ou de PMMA Éviter chez les patients allergiques aux monomères de méthacrylate.

5) Nettoyage et entretien

Pour assurer une utilisation correcte des prothèses dentaires finales, les professionnels dentaires et les patients doivent suivre les étapes suivantes :

Protocole d’insertion :

• Nettoyer les tissus buccaux à l’aide d’une brosse à poils souples ou rincer .
• Tenir la prothèse par les bords ; l’insérer en effectuant un léger mouvement de bascule .
• S’il s’agit d’une prothèse partielle, placer délicatement celle-ci dans la bouche et la guider avec les doigts pour la mettre en place.
• Éviter d’exercer une force excessive ou de pousser la prothèse partielle trop loin.
• Demander au patient de mordre et d’avaler pour bien le mettre en place .
• S’il s’agit d’une prothèse partielle, demander au patient de mordre doucement dessus afin de vérifier qu’elle est bien ajustée et stable.
• Utiliser de la colle si la rétention est insuffisante .
• Utiliser du papier à articuler au carbone pour corriger les points d’occlusion importants.

Nettoyage et entretien ** NETTOYAGE QUOTIDIEN

• Dandy recommande de nettoyer vos prothèses tous les jours avant et après chaque utilisation. Immédiatement après le retrait, utiliser de l’eau tiède (ne dépassant pas 45°C/113°F) et du liquide vaisselle pour éliminer les résidus de salive et de débris de l’appareil.
• Utiliser uniquement un liquide vaisselle doux et antibactérien (liquide) .
• Ne pas utiliser de savons parfumés ou parfumés .
• Ne pas utiliser de savons contenant des colorants ou des pigments trop concentrés .

UTILISATION D’AGENTS NETTOYANTS

• Pour l’entretien régulier et l’élimination des résidus, utiliser une brosse à poils souples pour nettoyer l’intérieur de votre appareil. La prothèse dentaire doit être nettoyée avec des solutions de nettoyage antibactériennes comme Polident et Efferdent. Ces nettoyants sont conçus pour être utilisés pendant de brèves séances de 10 à 15 minutes. Veiller à toujours suivre les instructions du fabricant pour une utilisation correcte.

Ne pas utiliser :

• Éviter d’immerger la prothèse ou de la nettoyer avec l’une des substances suivantes : hypochlorite de sodium (eau de Javel chlorée), peroxyde d’hydrogène, bain de bouche ou produits alcoolisés. Leur utilisation peut entraîner une décoloration et des dommages au matériau.

6) Stockage

Lorsqu’elles ne sont pas utilisées, stocker les prothèses définitives dans un endroit propre et sec. Éviter d’exposer les prothèses à une chaleur ou une pression excessive, ce qui pourrait provoquer une déformation ou d’autres dommages.

7) Durée de vie / Service attendu

Les prothèses dentaires finales sont conçues pour durer plusieurs années avec des soins et un entretien appropriés. Si leurs prothèses dentaires sont endommagées ou ne s’ajustent plus correctement, les patients doivent contacter leur dentiste traitant ou son cabinet pour un examen et une réparation.

8) Signalement des incidents / Réclamations

Signaler tout incident grave suspecté lié à cet appareil :

9) Élimination

• L’élimination des prothèses dentaires implique généralement de les traiter comme des déchets biologiques dangereux soumis à une réglementation ou comme des déchets ordinaires, souvent par l’intermédiaire d’opérateurs spécialisés qui les acheminent vers des incinérateurs ou des décharges sécurisées.
• Éviter toujours de la mettre à la poubelle sans vérifier les règles locales.
• Déchets biologiques dangereux/infectieux : Traiter les prothèses dentaires usagées ou non réclamées comme présentant un risque biologique dû à la salive/au sang ; utiliser des sacs rouges et des transporteurs agréés.
• Incinération : Une méthode commune pour la destruction finale.
• Récupération du métal : Si la prothèse dentaire contient des métaux précieux (or/argent), la rapporter à un laboratoire dentaire ou à un raffineur de déchets métalliques pour qu’elle soit recyclée, car cela peut être rentable et permet d’éviter la pollution.
• Confidentialité : Avant de jeter les boîtes et les socles de laboratoire, effacer ou détruire les informations relatives aux patients.

5) Reinigung und Pflege

Um eine ordnungsgemäße Verwendung der endgültigen Totalprothesen zu gewährleisten, sollten zahnmedizinische Fachkräfte und Patienten die folgenden Schritte beachten:

Einsetzungs-Protokoll:

• Mundschleimhaut mit einer weichen Zahnbezeichnung reinigen oder den Mundraum gründlich ausspülen
• Prothese an den Rändern halten; mit einer leicht wippenden Bewegung einsetzen
• Wenn es sich um eine Teilprothese handelt, setzen Sie diese vorsichtig in den Mund ein und führen Sie sie mit den Fingern in die endgültige Position.
• Drücken Sie die Teilprothese niemals mit Gewalt oder zu fest in den Kiefer.
• Bitten Sie den Patienten, zuzubeißen und zu schlucken, um den korrekten Sitz zu gewährleisten
• Wenn es sich um eine Teilprothese handelt, bitten Sie den Patienten, vorsichtig auf die Teilprothese zu beißen, um eine korrekte Passform und Stabilität zu gewährleisten.
• Verwenden Sie bei unzureichender Retention Haftcreme
• Verwenden Sie Kohle-Okklusionspapier, um zu starke Okklusionspunkte (Frühkontakte) einzuschleifen.

Reinigung und Pflege ** TÄGLICHE REINIGUNG

• Dandy empfiehlt, Ihre Prothesen täglich sowie vor und nach jedem Gebrauch zu reinigen. Verwenden Sie direkt nach dem Herausnehmen warmes Wasser (nicht über 45 °C / 113 °F) und Spülmittel, um verbleibenden Speichel und Rückstände vom Produkt zu entfernen.
• Nur milde, antibakterielle Flüssig-Spülseife verwenden.
• Keine parfümierten oder mit Aromen versetzten Seifen verwenden
• Keine Seifen mit starken Farbstoffen und Farben verwenden

VERWENDUNG VON REINIGUNGSMITTELN

• Verwenden Sie zur regelmäßigen Entfernung von Ablagerungen und zur Pflege eine Bürste mit weichen Borsten, um die Innenseite Ihres Hilfsmittels zu reinigen. Die Prothese sollte mit antibakteriellen Prothesenreinigungslösungen wie Polident und Efferdent gereinigt werden. Diese Reiniger sind für eine kurze Anwendung von 10–15 Minuten konzipiert. Achten Sie immer darauf, die Anweisungen des Herstellers für eine ordnungsgemäße Verwendung zu befolgen.

Nicht verwenden:

• Die Prothese nicht in folgende Substanzen eintauchen oder sie damit reinigen: Natriumhypochlorit (Chlorbleiche), Wasserstoffperoxid, Mundspülung oder alkoholhaltige Produkte. Die Verwendung dieser Mittel kann zu Verfärbungen und Schäden am Material führen.

6) Lagerung

Bewahren Sie fertige Prothesen bei Nichtgebrauch an einem sauberen, trockenen Ort auf. Vermeiden Sie es, die Prothesen übermäßiger Hitze oder starkem Druck auszusetzen, da dies zu Verformungen oder anderen Schäden führen kann.

7) Erwartete Lebensdauer / Nutzungsdauer

Bei sachgemäßer Pflege und regelmäßiger Wartung ist Ihr fertiger Zahnersatz für eine mehrjährige Nutzungsdauer ausgelegt. Bei Beschädigungen oder mangelnder Passform der Prothese sollten sich die Patienten für eine Überprüfung und Reparatur an ihren behandelnden Zahnarzt oder ihre Zahnarztpraxis wenden.

8) Meldung von Vorfällen / Beschwerden

Melden Sie vermutete schwerwiegende Vorkommnisse in Verbindung mit diesem Produkt:

• dem Hersteller und/oder der Dandy EU-Niederlassung unter Verwendung der oben genannten Kontaktdaten und der entsprechenden lokalen Anforderungen

9) Entsorgung

• Die Entsorgung von Prothesen erfolgt in der Regel entweder als regulierter infektiöser Abfall oder als Restmüll, häufig über spezialisierte Entsorgungsunternehmen zur Verbrennung oder zur sicheren Deponierung.
• Vermeiden Sie es grundsätzlich, diese im normalen Hausmüll zu entsorgen, ohne vorher die örtlichen Vorschriften zu prüfen.
• Biogefährlicher/infektiöser Abfall: Behandeln Sie benutzte oder nicht abgeholte Prothesen aufgrund von Speichel- und Blutkontamination als infektiösen Abfall; verwenden Sie rote Abfallsäcke und beauftragen Sie autorisierte Entsorgungsunternehmen.
• Verbrennung: Eine gängige Methode für die endgültige Zerstörung.
• Metallrückgewinnung: Wenn die Prothese Edelmetalle (Gold/Silber) enthält, geben Sie sie zum Recycling an ein Dentallabor oder einen Scheidebetrieb zurück, da dies rentabel sein kann und Umweltverschmutzung vermeidet.

3) Controindicazioni

Non usare in pazienti con:

• Malattia parodontale non controllata
• Grave riassorbimento della cresta alveolare residua
• Lesioni orali non trattate
• Ipersensibilità nota ai materiali acrilici o a base di PMMA

5) Pulizia e cura

Per garantire un uso corretto delle protesi dentarie finali, gli odontoiatri e i pazienti devono attenersi alla procedura seguente:

Protocollo di inserimento:

• Pulire i tessuti orali con uno spazzolino a setole morbide o risciacquare.
• Tenere la protesi dai bordi; inserirla applicando un delicato movimento rotatorio.
• Se si tratta di una protesi parziale, posizionarla delicatamente in bocca e usare le dita per guidarla in posizione.
• Evitare di esercitare una força eccessiva o di spingere eccessivamente la protesi parziale.
• Chiedere al paziente di morder e deglutire per l'inserimento.
• Se si tratta di una protesi parziale, chiedere al paziente di mordere delicatamente la protesi parziale per assicurarsi che si adatti e sia stabile.
• Utilizzare l'adesivo se il trattenimento è insufficiente.
• Utilizzare carta articolare in carbonio per regolare eventuali punti di occlusione pesanti.

Pulizia e cura** PULIZIA QUOTIDIANA

• Dandy consiglia di pulire le dentiere ogni giorno prima e dopo ogni utilizzo. Subito dopo la rimozione, utilizzare acqua calda (non superiore a 45 °C/113 °F) e detersivo per i piatti per rimuovere saliva e detriti residui dal dispositivo.
• Usare solo detersivo per piatti antibatterico e delicato (liquido).
• Non utilizzare detersivi aromatizzati o profumati.
• Non utilizzare detersivi con coloranti e colori intensi.

USO DI DETERGENTI

• Per la rimozione e la manutenzione periodiche dei detriti, usare uno spazzolino a setole morbide per pulire l'interno dell'apparecchio. La protesi deve essere pulita con soluzioni detergenti antibatteriche come Polident ed Efferdent. Questi detergenti sono progettati per l'uso per brevi sessioni di 10–15 minuti. Accertarsi sempre di seguire le istruzioni del produttore per un uso corretto.

Non utilizzare:

• Evitare di immergere la protesi o di pulirla con una delle seguenti sostanze: ipoclorito di sodio (candeggina), perossido di idrogeno, collutorio o prodotti a base alcolica. L'uso di queste sostanze può causare scolorimento e danni al materiale.

6) Conservazione

Quando non in uso, conservare le protesi finali in un luogo pulito e asciutto. Evitare di esporre le dentiere a calore o pressione eccessivi, che possono causare deformazioni o altri danni.

7) Durata prevista / Servizio

Le protesi finali sono progettate für durare diversi anni se si eseguono una cura e una manutenzione adeguate. In caso di danneggiamento o perdita di vestibilità alla protesi, i pazienti devono contattare il dentista/ambulatorio per la valutazione e la riparazione.

9) Smaltimento

• Lo smaltimento della dentiera comporta in genere la gestione come rifiuti a rischio biologico regolamentati o come rifiuti generici, spesso attraverso addetti specializzati per l'incenerimento o lo smaltimento sicuro nelle discariche.
• Evitare sempre di metterli nei normali rifiuti domestici senza controllare le regole locali.
• Rifiuti a rischio biologico/infettivi: trattare le protesi usate o non ritirate come a rischio biologico a causa della saliva/del sangue; utilizzare sacche rosse e corrieri autorizzati.
• Incineramento: metodo comune per la distruzione finale.
• Recupero del metallo: se la protesi contiene metalli preziosi (oro/argento), restituirla a un laboratorio odontoiatrico o a un raffinatore di rottami per il riciclaggio, in quanto può essere redditizia e previene l'inquinamento.
• Riservatezza: prima dello smaltimento, oscurare o eliminare le informazioni sul paziente presenti sulle scatole del laboratorio e sulle basi.

3) Contraindications

5) Cleaning and Care

To ensure proper use of final dentures, dental professionals and patients should follow these steps:

Insertion Protocol:

• Clean oral tissues with a soft-bristle brush or rinse
• Hold the denture by the edges; insert using a gentle rocking motion
• If it is a partial denture, gently place it in the mouth and use your fingers to guide it into position.
• Avoid using excessive force or pushing the partial denture too far.
• Instruct the patient to bite and swallow to seat
• If it is a partial denture, instruct the patient to gently bite down on the partial denture to ensure proper fit and stability.
• Use adhesive if retention is insufficient
• Use carbon articulation paper to adjust any heavy occlusion points.

Cleaning and Care ** DAILY CLEANING

• Dandy recommends cleaning your dentures daily before and after every use. Immediately after removal, use warm water (not to exceed 45°C/113°F) and dishwashing soap to remove remaining saliva and debris from the device.
• Only use soft, antibacterial dish soap (liquid)
• Do not use flavored or scented soaps
• Do not use soaps with heavy dyes and colors

USING CLEANING AGENTS

• For periodic debris removal and maintenance, use a soft-bristle brush to clean the inside of your appliance. The denture should be cleaned with antibacterial denture cleaning solutions like Polident and Efferdent. These cleaners are designed for use in brief sessions of 10–15 minutes. Always make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for proper use.

Do not use:

• Avoid immersing the denture in, or cleaning it with, any of the following substances: sodium hypochlorite (chlorine bleach), hydrogen peroxide, mouthwash, or alcohol products. Using these can lead to discoloration and damage to the material.

6) Storage

When not in use, store final dentures in a clean, dry place. Avoid exposing the dentures to excessive heat or pressure, which may cause warping or other damage.

Final dentures are designed to last for several years with proper care and maintenance. Patients should contact their treating dentist/practice for evaluation and repair if dentures become damaged or lose their fit.
