Overview: Learn how to add, remove, or change tooth numbers within the scanning software menu if the treatment plan needs to be adjusted during a patient's appointment.
Access the Case Editing Menu
To make changes to the dental chart, the user must first navigate to the case settings within the scanning interface.
Select the Case button located in the top portion of the scanning menu.
Review the dropdown menu that appears.
Select the specific Restoration and Tooth Number (e.g., Crown 3) that was originally configured.
Select the Pencil Icon located to the right of the tooth number to enable editing mode.
Add or Remove a Tooth
Follow these steps to modify the number of teeth included in the current restoration plan.
To add a tooth: Select the desired tooth on the digital tooth chart. The tooth will be shaded in once the selection is successful.
To remove a tooth: Select a shaded tooth on the digital tooth chart to deselect the tooth. The tooth will no longer be shaded once the selection is removed.
Save changes: Select the Save button and then select Confirm Change to update the case.

If the wrong tooth number was originally selected, use the tooth chart to reassign the restoration to the correct location.
Click the shaded tooth on the tooth chart to deselect the incorrect tooth number.
Click the correct tooth on the chart to select the tooth being treated.
Verify the new selection is shaded on the digital chart.
Select the Save button.
Select the Confirm Change button to apply the adjustment to the scanning session.
