Overview: This guide provides instructions for managing patient selection and product workflows for Digital Wax-Ups, Physical Wax-Ups, and Study Models within the Chairside software.
Patient Selection Process
To begin a workflow, the user must first identify or create a patient profile.
Click Start on the Chairside homescreen.
Enter the first and last name of the patient.
For existing patients: Select the patient name and click Order Something New.
For new patients: Complete the first and last name entry, select the gender, and enter the patient's birthday.
Click Create and Continue

Product Selection and Photo Uploads
Users can select between three primary product types: Digital Wax-Ups, Physical Wax-Ups, or Study Models.
Digital Wax-Up Setup
Click Wax-Ups & Matrix.
Select Digital Wax-Up.
Choose the specific teeth for the wax-up and click Next.

Upload required photos using one of the following methods:
Mobile: Scan the QR code with a phone camera.
Laptop: Drag and drop files or browse the computer directory.
Physical Wax-Up Setup
Select Physical Wax-Up.
Choose the specific teeth and click Next.

Select the desired matrix material and click Next.

Upload photos by scanning the QR code or browsing files on the laptop.
Study Model Setup
Select Study Model.
Upload photos via the QR code or laptop browser.
If photos are not immediately available, click Skip For Now to proceed.
