Overview: This guide provides suggested cementation systems for various dental restoration materials, including Lithium Disilicate, Zirconia, Alloy, and Abutments.
Material Cementation Guidelines
Dandy does not endorse a specific type of cement; however, clinicians may use the following guidelines to select appropriate options based on material type and restoration needs.
Lithium Disilicate
Lithium Disilicate (such as IPS e.max CAD) is typically used for anterior and posterior crowns, as well as 3-unit bridges up to the second bicuspid.
Attachment Method: Bond, then resin cement.
