How to gather records and the ordering process
- Be sure to capture the scans while the patient is in the office.

- Once the scans are complete, submit the sleep test case in chairside. This step activates the sleep test process
- Once the sleep test process is activated, the patient can take a Sleep Test Ring home to conduct the at-home test.
- To sanitize the Sleep Ring between patients, please refer to the sanitizing instructions provided with the Sleep Ring
Sleep testing and gathering patient information
- Once the Sleep Ring is activated, Dandy will reach out to gather patient information for insurance purposes and send instructions for conducting the at-home sleep test.
Treatment acceptance and MAD Ordering
- Treatment Acceptance and ordering MAD
- If oral appliance therapy is recommended and the patient chooses to proceed, simply order the MAD through Chairside using the records you already captured.
- If required by the patient's insurance plan, Dandy completes any necessary pre-authorizations after diagnosis and before treatment.
- MAD appliance cost is $599
- The cost will appear on your monthly Dandy invoice
- Once the order is submitted, Dandy handles insurance claim submission on your behalf.
Delivery Appointment
- Delivery is important, and you want to ensure the appliance fits and is adjusted correctly. Here is an article that outlines the best delivery appointment practices.

- Extra elastics and rods are available in the Dandy shop for an additional charge
Insurance Reimbursement
- Insurance reimbursement is sent directly to the practice within 3-6 weeks of claim submission
