Overview: This article explains how to complete the checkout process for cases involving both partial and complete dentures in Chairside software.
Select Order Details
In this stage, the user defines the specific requirements for the partial and denture restorations.
Choose Additional Products
Select any additional products required for the case.
Click Continue.
Define Partial Parameters
Shade Selection: Choose a tooth shade using either the Vita Classical or Ivoclar Bleach Shade Guide and click Next.
Tooth Selection: Select the specific teeth on the arch that the partial restoration will replace.
For each tooth, specify if the tooth is currently missing or if the doctor should extract the tooth from the scan.
Click Next once all selections are complete.
Clasp Placement: Choose an option for clasp placement and click Next.
Lab Choice: Dandy selects ideal, low-visibility areas for the clasps.
Specify Locations: Manually select the tooth locations and confirm by clicking Sure.
Clasp Material: Choose between Metal or Flexible clasps.
For Flexible clasps, select either Clear or Pink.
Click Next.
Coverage and Tissue: Choose either Bilateral or Unilateral coverage, select the tissue shade, and click Next.
Select Manufacturing Preferences
Choose the preferred manufacturing process for the partial restoration and click Next:
Straight-to-finish: Use this for a finalized restoration ready for the next appointment.
Bite rims: Select this if the patient needs their occlusion re-established.
Try-in with teeth setup: Receive the framework with teeth set in wax.
Try-in with framework only: Select this to assess the fit of the metal framework.
Manage Patient Media
Users can upload patient photos using a mobile device or a laptop.
Upload via Mobile Device
Scan the provided QR code with the mobile device.
Select the image files and click Upload.
Upload via Laptop
Click From your laptop.
Click Browse files and locate the saved folder.
Double-click the desired file to open.
Verify Uploaded Files
Review the files listed under Your files to view or delete them.
Click Next when ready, or click Skip to proceed without photos.
Review and Place Order
Model Selection: Confirm the dual full arch model selection and click Next.
Confirmation: Review the specific details for the bite rim, partial denture, and removable model.
Instructions: Click Add Rx-specific instructions to provide additional notes for each product.
Checkout: Click Proceed to checkout.
Final Submission: Select the doctor, shipping address, and shipping speed.
Submit: Click Place Order to send the case to the lab, or click Save order for later to keep the draft.
