Manage Chairside Denture Reline Workflows

Overview: This guide explains how to complete a denture reline workflow in the Chairside software, including patient selection, arch configuration, and implant specifications for overdentures.

Identify and Select the Patient

  1. Select Start on the Chairside home screen.

  2. Type the first and last name of the patient.

  3. Choose an existing patient name and select Order Something New, or complete the first name, last name, gender, and birthday for a new patient.

  4. Select Create and Continue.

Configure Product and Overdenture Specifications

  1. Select Dentures within the product menu.

  2. Choose Denture and then select Denture Reline.

  3. Confirm if the reline is for an implant-supported denture.

Traditional Denture Relines

  1. Select No for traditional dentures and select Next.

  2. Choose the specific arch or arches and select Next.

Overdenture Relines

  1. Select Yes for overdentures and select Next.

  2. Select Order an Overdenture.

  3. Confirm the support type and select Next.

  4. Choose the tooth number that corresponds to the existing implant site and select Next.

  5. Toggle the button in the upper right to input specific implant specifications.

  6. Select the locator system and provide the implant manufacturer, system, and size.

  7. Confirm if the order includes abutments or retention caps and select Next.

    • If Yes: Select the retention range and strength.

    • If No: Confirm the decision when prompted.

  8. Select the arch or arches and choose the box below the arch selection if a horseshoe denture is required.

Finalize the Workflow

  1. Select Start Scanning if the denture reline order is complete.

  2. Select Edit Overdenture to modify any existing overdenture selections.
