Review Steps

- Click the “HD Scans” button on the left to see the high quality images
- Dandy uses high quality for manufacturing, but only shows low resolution images to prevent computer slow downs.
- Click the “Stone” Button on the bottom to show a grey image of the prep.
- Grey images show true contour better than color, and are ideal for viewing margins.
- Click the “Margin” button at the bottom to mark your own margin for Dandy to use
- Click on individual points around each prep to mark the margin.
- Click “Done” on the left when Complete
- Dandy will always mark margins if unselected.
- Click the Clearance button to measure the distance between prep and opposing arches. Refer back to Crown and Bridge Prep Recommendations for clearance values by material.
- Click “Done” on the left when Complete
- Click Share Scans with Patient on the left side to send the images for the patient to review.
- This is great for instances where a patient is undecided about a treatment option.
- Fill out the form accordingly to send to the patient.
- Click the “HD Scans” button on the left to see the high quality images
- If the Review shows a need to rescan, Click “A scan looks bad? Re-scan it” on the left
- If the Scan looks good, Click “Start Ordering” on the left.
