Workflow
Upper and Lower Intraoral Scans
- On your Chairside Home screen, press “Start” and enter the patient's name.
- If they are new, please fill out the gender and birthday
- Select “Dentures” > ”Full Denture” > ”A New Denture”
- You will then be asked if your patient has an existing denture, to which you will answer whatever is appropriate and press “Next”
- Then you will indicate whether the appliance is to be implant supported, answer whatever is appropriate as well, and press “Next’”
- Indicate which arch(es) we will be creating a full denture for, press “Add to Order” and “Start Scanning”
- Confirm the tissue shade
-
Take upper and lower intraoral scans or Extraoral Denture Scan: 360° Scan Technique, capturing all necessary landmarks:
- Depth of buccal and lingual vestibules
- Frena
- Hamular notches
- Retromolar pads
- Full palate, including some extension into the soft palate.
- Note: If scanning is difficult (in particular, an edentulous lower arch), doctors may take a standard impression and scan the impression's intaglio surface and borders (no 360 needed). The patient must be fully edentulous to direct scan impressions. If the patient still has existing teeth, pour a stone model and scan the model.

Capture Scans or Impressions
Capture high-quality data to ensure a proper fit for the Signature Acrylic Denture.
Intraoral Scanning Technique
Capture all necessary landmarks using the 360° scan technique:
Depth of buccal and lingual vestibules
Frena and Hamular notches
Retromolar pads
Full palate, including extension into the soft palate
Physical Impression Alternative
If scanning is difficult, particularly for an edentulous lower arch, you may:
Take a standard impression.
Scan the intaglio surface and borders of the impression.
Note: If the patient has existing teeth, you must pour a stone model and scan the model instead of scanning the impression.
Finalize Product Selection and Customization
After scanning, complete the following customization steps:
Ensure Signature Acrylic Denture is selected (this is the default selection).
Choose the Smile Style and desired Festooning Level.
Select Stippling if desired (this is the only supported add-on).
Capture natural-smiling photos of the patient head-on and in profile with the wax bite rim in place.
Confirm the final teeth shade and submit the case for fabrication.
