Chairside Partial & Complete Denture Combo Case Setup and Appointment Sequencing

Overview: This article describes the step-by-step case setup and appointment workflow for fabricating new partial and complete dentures on opposing arches using Chairside software.

Clinical Scenarios for Denture Workflows

Use this Chairside workflow when fabricating a new complete denture and a new partial denture for a patient who lacks a stable Vertical Dimension of Occlusion (VDO).

Appointment Sequencing Overview

Follow this four-appointment sequence for partial and complete denture combo cases:

  • Appointment 2: Record the wax rim and occlusal data.

  • Appointment 3: Conduct the Partial Denture Try-In Framework (with or without teeth setup) and the Monolithic Try-In Complete Denture.

  • Appointment 4: Deliver the final partial denture and final complete denture to the patient.

Note: If you are performing a Wax Rim Appointment, please refer to the specific documentation for Appointment 2.
