How to indicate a restoration will be under a partial
- Once the patient has been selected, select "Fixed Restorations"
- Choose the relevant restoration type
- Crown
- Inlay
- Onlay
- Veneer
- Bridge
- Click on the abutment teeth to be restored
- If restoring a bridge, select the relevant pontic areas and/or Maryland Bridge Wings

After selecting which tooth will be restored on the tooth chart, before clicking "Next" Click the box to the right labeled "This is a crown under a partial denture"
Clicking this box ensures Chairside provides an extra area to scan the prep under the partial, so the lab can verify the new restoration will fit under the partial. This scan step will appear after the prep is scanned on its own.
