Overview: Learn how to complete the checkout workflow for tooth-supported overdentures from existing dentures using Dandy Chairside software.
Specify Denture Characteristics
Choose a tooth shade using either the Vita Classical or Ivoclar Bleach Shade Guide, then click Next.
Choose a tissue shade from the available configuration menu, then click Next.
Select the specific denture type from the list of available software options, then click Next.
Select the desired manufacturing process from the menu options, then click Next:
Select Straight-to-Finish to receive the finalized overdenture at the next patient appointment.
Select Try-In to receive a monolithic 3D-printed try-in denture to confirm occlusion, fit, and aesthetics at the next patient appointment.
Select Esthetics and Add-Ons
Select the preferred smile style for overdenture fabrication, then click Next:

Select the preferred festooning level for overdenture fabrication, then click Next:

State if the patient has a diastema:
If the patient has a diastema, select Yes, then choose either Keep It or Close It.
If the patient does not have a diastema, select No.
Select any additional overdenture add-ons from the options checklist, follow any subsequent software prompts, and click Next:

Define Functional Preferences
Choose a functional preference for adjusting the patient bite, and confirm the distance change in millimeters if a modification is requested:

Choose a functional preference for adjusting the dental midline, and confirm the distance change in millimeters if a modification is requested:

Select the checkbox for Correct Occlusal Scheme to Class I if this specific functional configuration is required for the overdenture case.
Upload Patient Photographs
Users can upload patient photos using either a mobile device or a laptop computer interface.
Uploading With a Mobile Device
Scan the displayed QR code using the camera on the mobile device.
Select the desired photo files from the mobile device storage.
Click Upload to attach the photo files to the overdenture order.
Uploading With a Laptop Computer
Click the From Your Laptop button in the Chairside interface.
Click Browse Files to navigate to the local computer folder where the photographs are saved.
Select the correct photo file, then double-click the file to open and attach it.
Managing Uploaded Photographs
Review or delete uploaded files under the Your Files section to confirm the selections.
Click Next when the photograph upload process is complete and ready to move forward.
Click Skip if proceeding with the overdenture order without attaching patient photos.
Request Order Design Approval
Select the design review checkbox if the clinician wants to review the digital design prior to physical fabrication.
Select any additional design review features in the options menu where applicable.
Leave the design review checkbox unchecked if the clinician wants to fabricate the overdenture directly without an intermediate design approval step.
Click Continue to proceed.
Review Order Details
Confirm all displayed product and prescription information for the overdenture order.
Click Add Rx-specific Instructions if additional technical or clinical notes need to be attached to the overdenture order.
Click Proceed to Checkout when the order review is finished.
Submit Final Overdenture Order
Select the treating doctor from the dropdown selection list.
Select the correct shipping address for the dental practice.
Select the preferred shipping speed for delivery.
Click Place Order to transmit the case to the laboratory, or click Save Order for Later to save the progress and close the overdenture session.
