Overview: This article provides instructions for completing the checkout and submission process for an immediate denture order within the Chairside platform.
Configuration of Order Preferences
The user must define the clinical and aesthetic specifications for the immediate denture before final submission.
Material and Aesthetic Selections
Add Optional Items: Select any additional items from the available options list and click Continue.
Define Tooth Shade: Confirm or modify the desired tooth shade and click Next.
Select Tissue Shade: Choose the appropriate tissue shade for the denture base and click Next.
Select Denture Type: Choose the specific denture type from the list of available options and click Next.
Fabrication and Design Settings
Select Fabrication Type: Choose the preferred production method (e.g., printed or milled) and click Next.
Configure Try-ins: If the user selects a try-in option, the user must also select the design type before clicking Next.
Define Aesthetic Style: Select the desired smile style and the festooning level (gum detail), then click Next.
Confirm Clinical Features: Indicate if a diastema (gap) should be present in the design and select any optional add-ons. Click Next to proceed.
Complete Functional Form: Fill out the functional preferences form with patient-specific requirements and click Next.
Clinical Documentation and Photo Uploads
Proper documentation ensures accuracy in the digital design process.
Mobile and Hardware Upload Options
QR Code Upload: Scan the provided QR code with a mobile phone to upload clinical photos directly.
Alternative Mobile Methods: If the QR code fails to scan, select Regenerate Code or Get a Text to receive a new link.
Laptop Upload: Select From Your Laptop to browse files or drag and drop image files directly into the upload area.
Final Review and Order Submission
The review stage allows the user to verify all product details and clinical instructions.
Product Verification
Digital Design Preview: Add an optional digital design preview to the order if a manual review of the design is required, then click Next.
Verify Information: Review all product information for the immediate denture. Select the pencil icon to edit any existing details.
Add Instructions: Select Add Rx-Specific instructions to provide the laboratory with additional clinical notes.
Review Additional Products: Select Review Next to verify other products in the same order, or select Skip to Checkout to move to the final step.
Checkout and Finalization
Proceed to Checkout: Select the Proceed to Checkout button.
Confirm Logistics: Verify the assigned doctor, shipping address, and requested delivery date.
Final File Uploads: Select Upload Files or Upload From Your Phone to include any final supplemental documentation.
Submit Order: Select Place Order to submit the immediate denture to the lab, or select Save For Later to keep the order as a draft.
