Overview: This article provides step-by-step instructions for capturing and reviewing intraoral scans specifically for bleaching trays using the Chairside workflow.
Capture Scanning Data
The user must scan the patient's arches in the following order to ensure the data processes correctly:
Lower Arch: Follow an occlusal, buccal, and then lingual scan path. Select Next once the scan is complete.
Upper Arch: Follow an occlusal, buccal, and then lingual scan path. Select Next once the scan is complete.
Bite Capture: Capture at least 4 teeth and 2-3mm of the gingiva (gum line).
-
Manual Alignment: If the bite scans do not auto-align, the user must align the bite scans manually.
