What is Polychromatic Shade™?
Polychromatic Shade™ is Dandy's breakthrough innovation in crown aesthetics. Leveraging advanced digital design and a patented manufacturing process, it builds color dimensionally across the crown — delivering seamless color transitions, natural incisal translucency, and optical depth that rivals natural teeth. The result is porcelain aesthetics on high-strength 3Y zirconia.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does Polychromatic Shade™ work? Traditional aesthetic crowns rely on skilled ceramists who hand-stain each unit — a time-intensive process that increases costs to $300–$400 per crown. Polychromatic Shade™ replicates that master-level result through a digitally driven, multi-phase shading system that is proprietary and exclusive to Dandy. No hand-painting. No compromise on quality.
How much does it cost? A zirconia crown with Polychromatic Shade™ will be the same prices as a standard Dandy zirconia crown. You get premium aesthetics without having to choose between quality and cost.
When will this be available? Polychromatic Shade™ will be available for single-unit zirconia crowns in shades A1, A2, A3, & A3.5 starting with anterior crowns and then coming to posterior crown cases. Because this is a new technology, we are rolling it out carefully with strict quality controls. Bridges and implant restorations will come in the near future.
Is it available for custom shades? Not yet — custom shade support is coming in 2026. In the meantime, if shade matching is a concern, we recommend our Shade Remake Killer service, which sends you three crowns with slightly different shades so you can find the perfect fit. It has a 97% success rate
