Overview: This guide describes the available denture smile design styles and festooning levels to help users select the most appropriate aesthetic options for patients.
Denture Smile Design Options
Dandy offers three distinct smile design styles based on the shape of the incisal edge. Choose the style that best matches the patient's desired aesthetic outcome:
Hollywood Smile Design: This design features a flatter, squared-off incisal edge for a bold, uniform appearance.
Mature Smile Design: This design uses a smoothly rounded incisal surface to provide a natural, age-appropriate look.
Youthful Smile Design: This design incorporates a sharply defined "V"-shaped incisal surface to mimic natural wear patterns found in younger patients.

Festooning Levels:
Festooning Levels
Festooning refers to the carving of the denture base to mimic natural gum tissue contours. Select one of the following levels during the configuration process:
Soft Festooning: Provides minimal gingival contouring for a smoother base.
Medium Festooning: Provides moderate gingival contouring for a standard appearance.
Heavy Festooning: Provides deep, highly detailed gingival contouring. Heavy Festooning is the recommended selection for the most lifelike results.
