Overview: This article provides instructions for setting up a clear aligner refinement case using the Dandy Portal and Chairside software.
Initiate the Refinement Order
Log in to the Dandy Portal and locate the specific patient's Aligner case.
Select the Refinement button within the case details to start the new order.
Add Photos and Select the Dental Arch
Upload the required patient photos to the order.
Note that while new photos are recommended, the Dandy Portal allows users to copy photos from the existing case.
Choose the specific arch (upper, lower, or both) required for the refinement aligners.
Select Add to Order.
Upload Diagnostic Scans and Submit the Order
Choose the necessary treatment options for the refinement.
Upload the new intraoral scans for the refinement case.
Ensure a new scan is taken for every refinement; this scan can be captured as a Diagnostic Scan and then uploaded to the refinement order.
Review the refinement order details for accuracy.
Select Submit Order to complete the process.
