Track the status of try-in returns

Overview: This article explains how to track the status of try-in returns using both the Dandy Portal and Chairside software. 

Track try-in status in Chairside

Follow these steps to view the progress of a try-in return directly within the Chairside application:

1. Locate the Track your orders section on the right-hand side of the Chairside screen.

2. Click the specific patient name under the Track your orders menu to open the detailed view.

3. View the tracking status at the top of the screen.

4. Monitor the status as the try-in move through the following stages: Submission, Lab Fabrication, Shipping, and Delivery.

Track try-in status in the Dandy Portal

Follow these steps to view the progress of a try-in return using the Dandy Portal:

1. Select the Orders tab located at the top left-hand side of the Dandy Portal page.

   • Note: This list includes all orders that are currently sent or were paused during an appointment.

2. Click on the patient name for the try-in you wish to track.

3. Review the order status displayed on the page.

4. Confirm the current stage of the return, which includes Submission, Lab Fabrication, Shipping, and Delivery.
