This guide explains how to initiate and configure a clear aligner order within the Chairside software for new or existing patients.
Identifying Patient Information
Users must first identify if the patient is new or currently exists in the Chairside system.
Click Start on the Chairside home screen.
Enter the first and last name of the patient.
For Existing Patients: Select the name of the patient and click Order Something New.
For New Patients: Finish typing the first and last name of the new patient, select the gender, and enter the birthday.
Click Create and Continue to advance the workflow.
Selecting Aligner Products
After selecting the patient, define the specific orthodontic requirements for the clear aligner order.
Click Ortho in the product selection menu.
Click Aligners.
Note: If the patient requires retainers following a completed Dandy Aligner Therapy, refer to the "Chairside Retainers for Dandy Aligners Case Workflow" guide.
Select the specific case type for the aligner order and click Next.
Select the desired arch or arches (Upper, Lower, or Both) and click Next.
Finalizing the Workflow
Determine if the aligner order requires immediate scanning or further modification.
Start Scanning: Click Start Scanning if the product configuration is correct and no other products are needed.
Modify Order: Click Edit Aligners to make changes to the arch selection or case type.
