This article outlines how to use the shade-matching tool at checkout with Trios 3 scanners.
Important note: This tool is meant for shade verification, not as a single source of truth for shade capture. This feature is only available for scans taken on Trios 3 scanners.
How to Use Shade Matching Tool In Chairside
Complete all scans.
Once you are ready, go to Order.
Confirm extras.
After this, you will be on the Confirm shade page.
On the right-hand side, you will see a box labeled Double-check your shade.
Click Shade Match in that box.
Here, you can hover your cursor over different teeth to get an estimated shade and percentage match.
Once you have finished, click the X in the top-right corner of the box.
Now you can choose your shade based on the shade matching tool's findings.
