Manage and Complete Chairside Retainer Orders

Overview: Follow these steps to configure material options and finalize the checkout process for Chairside retainer orders.

Configure Retainer Order Details

Before proceeding to checkout, ensure all product specifications are correctly selected.

Select Items and Quantity

1. Add an optional additional item from the available list if required and click Continue.

2. Select the desired quantity for the order and click Next.

Choose Retainer Materials

Select the specific material for the retainer from the provided options:

• Essix Retainer: Choose this for clear plastic vacuum-formed retainers.

  • Clear medical-grade plastic (Polymer)

  • 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm, and 2.0mm (1mm is the default)
  • 

• Hawley Retainer: Choose this for acrylic and wire-based retainers.

  • Tissue-colored methacrylate base with a stainless steel wire

  • 0.30mm wire

  • Can add a tongue crib

  • 

• Lingual Fixed Retainer: Choose this for bonded wire retainers.

  • Stainless steel

  • 0.30mm

  • matrix added

  • 

Essix Retainer Specific Steps

If you select an Essix Retainer, follow these additional steps:

1. Confirm if pontics are needed by clicking Yes.

2. Specify the exact tooth number by clicking on the digital tooth map and click Apply.

3. Select the appropriate tooth shade and click Next.

Finalize and Place Order

Review the order details to ensure accuracy before submission.

Review Product Information

1. Verify the Product Information on the summary screen.

2. Click the Pencil Icon to modify any existing details.

3. Click Add Rx-Specific instructions to include any custom notes for the lab.

Checkout and Submission

1. Click Review Next to repeat the process for additional products, or click Skip to Checkout.

2. Click Proceed to Checkout.

3. Confirm the doctor’s name, shipping address, and requested delivery date.

4. Click Upload Files or Upload From Your Phone to attach necessary digital assets.

5. Click Place Order to submit or Save For Later to keep the draft.
