Chairside Checkout Workflow Options
The Chairside Checkout screen provides several methods for handling diagnostic scan data.
Complete Diagnostic Scan
To finalize the session without additional actions, click Complete Diagnostic Scan to move forward in the Chairside software.
Schedule Video Call with Lab Technician
If a consultation is required, users can schedule a video meeting directly through the Chairside interface.
Click Save Scans & Schedule Video Call With Lab Tech.
Click Select to Continue.
Verify the patient’s name is correctly prefilled in the form.
Select the appropriate product line for the consultation.
Type a summary of the discussion topics and click Select a Time.
Choose a preferred day and time to meet with the lab technician.
Verify the doctor’s name and email address.
Input additional notes and a contact phone number.
Click Confirm to finalize the video call appointment.
Save Scans for Future Use
Scans can be stored in the cloud for up to 45 days if an order is not placed immediately.
Click Save Scans & Exit.
Click Select to Continue.
The Chairside software will upload the scan data to the cloud for later retrieval.
Order Restorative Items from Scans
Users can initiate a restorative order directly from the captured diagnostic data.
Click Order Items From Scans.
Click Select to Continue.
Choose the specific product for the order:
Night Guard Checkout
Retainer Checkout
Bleaching Tray Checkout
Digital or Physical Waxup Checkout
Study Model Checkout
Sports Guard Checkout
Click Continue to proceed with the restorative order.
Share Scans with Patients
The Chairside platform allows users to provide scan data to patients via digital or physical formats.
Click Share Scans With Patient.
Confirm the practice information is correct.
Write a message to the patient and include any relevant context.
Select a delivery method: Link, Printout, or QR code.
Click Share to send the information to the patient.
