Overview: This guide provides step-by-step instructions for completing the checkout process for TMJ and TMD appliances within the Chairside software. Users can follow these procedures to finalize orders for NTI, Anterior Deprogrammer, Dawson B-Splint, and Gelb appliances.
Checkout Procedures by Appliance Type
Complete NTI Appliance Checkout
Select the desired teeth coverage for the NTI appliance and click Next.
Select the height for the appliance and click Next.
Review the TMJ and TMD information for accuracy.
Confirm the product information; click the pencil icon to make necessary changes.
Click Add Rx-Specific instructions to include additional notes for the order.
Select Review Next to repeat the process for additional products, or click Skip to Checkout.
Click Proceed to Checkout.
Confirm the doctor's name, shipping address, and requested delivery date.
Click Upload Files or Upload From Your Phone to attach supporting documentation.
Click Place Order to submit or Save For Later to keep the draft.
Complete Anterior Deprogrammer Checkout
Add optional additional items from the available list and click Continue.
Select the material for the Anterior Deprogrammer and click Next.
Select the appliance thickness and click Next.
Select the preferred color and click Next.
Review the TMJ and TMD information.
Confirm the product information; use the pencil icon for any required modifications.
Click Add Rx-Specific instructions to add notes to the prescription.
Choose Review Next for more products or click Skip to Checkout.
Click Proceed to Checkout.
Verify the doctor, address, and delivery date.
Select Upload Files or Upload From Your Phone to provide additional data.
Click Place Order or Save For Later.
Complete Dawson B-Splint Checkout
Add optional items from the list and click Continue.
Select the distance the appliance will create between the posterior teeth and click Next.
Select the Dawson B-Splint height and click Next.
Select the Dawson B-Splint thickness and click Next.
Review the TMJ and TMD case details.
Confirm the product information and use the pencil icon for changes.
Click Add Rx-Specific instructions for custom notes.
Click Review Next or Skip to Checkout.
Click Proceed to Checkout.
Confirm the clinician, delivery address, and date.
Upload necessary files from a computer or mobile device.
Click Place Order or Save For Later.
Complete Gelb Appliance Checkout
Select optional items if needed and click Continue.
Select the distance the Gelb appliance will create between posterior teeth and click Next.
Review the TMJ and TMD data.
Confirm the product information; click the pencil icon to edit.
Add specific prescription instructions by clicking Add Rx-Specific instructions.
Select Review Next or Skip to Checkout.
Click Proceed to Checkout.
Verify the doctor, address, and delivery date.
Upload additional files as required.
Click Place Order or Save For Later.
