Overview: Learn how to start a new patient case, upload scan files, and submit an order through the Dandy Practice Portal.

Create a New Case Order
To begin a new order, navigate to the Dandy Practice Portal home screen and follow these steps:
Select the Orders tab from the main navigation menu.
Click the New Order button located at the bottom left of the screen.
Select Start a new case from scratch on the right side of the page.
Enter Patient and Order Details
Once the case is started, the portal will guide you through the Case Setup Page:
Enter all required patient details accurately.
Specify the product or service you are ordering.
Complete all sections of the Case Setup to proceed to the file upload stage.
Upload Digital Scan Files
After completing the case setup, you must import the patient's digital scans:
Navigate to the last page of the Case Setup process.
Upload the digital scan files from your computer.
Ensure files are in a supported format ( .stl is preferred for optimal processing).
Submit the Final Order
Review the order and provide any final instructions before checkout:
Add any specific notes in the Additional Instructions field if necessary.
If no additional notes are needed, skip the notes section.
Proceed to the Checkout Page.
Select Place your Order to complete the submission.

Purpose:
This guide walks you through the initial steps of sending and importing scan files to the Dandy Portal to send a case to Dandy.

Procedure:

Step 1- Go To the Portal
- Navigate to the Dandy Practice Portal Home Screen
- Directly from the Home Screen of the Portal, you will want to select the ‘Orders’ tab
- Select ‘New Order’ Button (located at the bottom left)

Step 2 - Setting Up the Case
- Select the Option ‘Start a new case from Scratch’ (on the right side)
- You will be guided to a Case Setup Page

Enter
- All the details of your patient
- What you are ordering.

Step 3: - Uploading Scan Files
- Once selecting Case Setup Entirely (on the very last page)

Import your scan files.
- *.stl preferred

Step 4: Submitting the Case

You will then be asked, “Add any Additional Instructions to the order”

- Add

- Skip the Notes

- Proceed directly to the Checkout Page
- Place your Order.
