Samsung Laptop Pilot Program FAQ

Thank you for agreeing to be a part of our exclusive customer pilot to test a new laptop with your existing Dandy Scanner setup! We’re thrilled to introduce you to this laptop's exciting features, including its sleek touchscreen, high-resolution display, and ultra-thin design.

To ensure a seamless experience with scanning and operations, a member of the Dandy Customer Support Team will follow up shortly after delivery to confirm that all necessary updates have been applied.

If you’d prefer to apply the updates yourself and get started right away, please follow the step-by-step guide below.

Samsung Update Guide

  1. Click on the Windows Icon in the bottom right corner of the screen
  2. Once the Window appears type in “Microsoft Store”
  3. Click on Microsoft Store Option
  4. At the Top, Click on the search menu then type in “Samsung Device Care” and click on the green swirl Icon.
  5. On the next screen click “Get”
  6. Wait for the Application to download
  7. Once it's done downloading, click on “Open”
  8. If any Pop Ups occur on this screen, Click OK or Continue until this screen appears
  9. On left-hand side click “Updates”
  10. From this Screen Click “Update All” in the top Right Hand Corner
  11. Wait for the Updates to Download.
    1. If you receive any pop-ups during this time, please select “Ok” or “Continue”. 
    2. If you are prompted to Restart your Computer, please do so. Once rebooted, you are good to go!
    3. If you are not prompted to restart and there are no more updates in this window, you are also done!
