The following workflow is applicable for patients receiving any Fixed Restoration: Crown, Inlay, Onlay, Veneer or Bridge in combination with a Partial Denture. This combined workflow allows for a seamless scanning and checkout process. 

The outline below is a step-by-step appointment guide for a combination order.

Workflow Details

Step 1 - Case setup

• Choose the 'Fixed Restorations' option to begin

• Select Crown, Inlay, Onlay, Veneer or Bridge

Step 2 - Select the tooth/teeth that will receive the above selection

Step 3 - Specify the desired material and shade from the subsequent menus

• You may also include photos
• When you are finished click 'Add to Order'

Step 5 - Now select 'Add another item'

Step 6 - Select the 'Dentures' category from the 'Order something more' menu

• From the 'Denture' menu select Partial

Step 7 - Select the desired material and tooth shade for the partial

• Select the desired material for the partial
• Select the desired shade for the partial
• Denote whether this is a replacement partial or not, and press 'the Add to order' button.

Step 8 - Begin scanning

• The Chairside software will guide you through the complete scanning process, including each scan you need to take, to ensure all the necessary information is captured
• After all scans are captured, you will arrive at the 'Review' menu. To proceed with your order, select the 'Start ordering' button.

Step 9 - Checkout

• Navigate through the guided checkout flow:
  • Confirm whether you wish to add any other items to the order
  • Confirm whether you would like to order a Digital Design Preview for this order
  • Fixed order: confirm the details of your fixed order 
  • Partial order: add additional design details regarding your partial:
    • (1) Select the teeth that the partial will replace. When prompted, note whether each tooth is already missing or will be extracted
      
      
    • (2) Select the desired clasp placement. If selecting 'Specify locations,' use the pop-up diagram to note your clasping preferences.
      
      
      
    • Select the clasp material for the partial.
      • Note: the presented clasp material options are dependent upon the material selected in the Case Setup menu.

Step 10 - Review the order and select 'Place order'

• A case summary will be available on the final screen with the delivery address and anticipated delivery date. 
• Please note that if you have chosen a Crown or Bridge layered product (PFZ, PFM, and Emax) the Fixed Restoration will be delivered first and a new scan of the seated product will be required to begin fabrication of the Partial. The Partial case will be placed on hold until the new scan is added to the case.
