Overview: The Dandy Digital Fast Track guide helps dental practices master digital workflows and restoration consistency through a two-phase training program.
Prerequisites
Ensure all Dandy equipment has been received.
Complete the pre-work checklist at least 48 hours before the scheduled virtual launch training date.
Phase 1: Digital Fundamentals
Phase 1 focuses on preparing the dental office for digital transformation by setting up hardware and learning basic scanning techniques.
Setting Up Equipment and Account
Establishing the digital foundation requires the correct configuration of hardware and the Dandy Portal profile. Use these guides to complete the setup:

Practicing Scanning Workflows
Practitioners must learn Dandy's digital workflow and practice techniques before moving to live patients.
Workflow Education: Review the Comprehensive Guide to Digital Workflows with Dandy.
Scanning Practice: Practice Scanning Using Scan Training Mode in Chairside using the provided physical model.
Attending Virtual Launch Training
The 2-hour virtual launch training is an interactive, hands-on experience led by a launch trainer. During this training, staff members will learn:
Crown and bridge digital workflows.
Scanning techniques and best practices.
Individualized scan coaching for each team member.
Available Dandy Support services.
Note: Staff members attending live are eligible for 2 CE credits.
Phase 2: Real Patient Application
Phase 2 transitions the practice into using digital workflows for live patient cases with expert guidance from Dandy specialists.
Monitoring First Live Case
During Week 2, a Dandy expert virtually joins the operatory session to observe the first real patient case. The expert provides immediate feedback on scanning techniques and tooth preparation quality while answering questions via live chat.
Processing Routine Cases
In Week 3, the practice should complete three or more patient cases. Focus on routine treatments such as single-unit posteriors and night guard treatments to build workflow consistency.
Expanding Treatment Scope
By Week 4, the practice should broaden the treatment scope to include more complex cases. Practitioners are encouraged to start digital workflows for Partial Dentures and Clear Aligners to enhance practice service offerings.
