Overview: Learn how to manage the scanner click volume or mute audio cues in Chairside and Unite software.

Configure Chairside Scanner Audio

The scanner produces a software-generated 'Click' sound to indicate successful scan data capture. Note that these software settings do not impact the quieter mechanical clicking of the scanner hardware.

  1. Click the Volume button located in the upper right-hand corner of the Chairside software interface.

  2. Move the volume slider to the preferred audio level.

  3. Move the volume slider completely to the left to mute the scanner click sound.
