Study Model Overview
A study model is a 3D-printed replica of a patient's current teeth and occlusion. These models serve as critical diagnostic aids for cosmetic dentistry and comprehensive treatment planning. All Dandy study models are fabricated using 3D-printing technology.
Ordering Instructions in Chairside
To successfully order a study model, the user must provide full arch scans for both the maxillary (upper) and mandibular (lower) arches.
Dual-Arch Scan Requirements
Open the Chairside application home screen.
Select the Diagnostic scan feature.
Select Dual-arch on the arch selection screen to ensure both the upper and lower arches are captured.
Finalizing the Order
Complete the required scans for the patient.
Navigate to the Review step in the workflow.
Select the Order button.
On the Wrapping up screen, select Study Model to complete the request.
