Chairside Retainers for Dandy Aligners Case Setup

Overview: Order retainers for patients with existing Dandy Aligner cases using the Chairside software interface.

Select Patient and Product

To begin the retainer order, follow these steps in the Chairside software:

  1. Open the Chairside software and click Orders in the top-left corner.

  2. Click the search bar at the top of the screen and enter the first and last name of the patient.

  3. Locate the specific aligners order for that patient and click the aligners order.

  4. Click Order Retainers within the green banner located at the top of the screen.

Configure Retainer Order Details

Provide the specific requirements for the retainer order:

  1. Select the desired arch or arches for the retainer.

  2. Select the quantity of retainers and click Next.

  3. Determine if the order requires new scans.

  4. Click Capture New Scans (recommended) and click Next, or select Use The Last Step From the Plan if new scans are not required for the retainer.

  5. Review the aligners and confirm all product information is correct.

Finalize and Place Order

Complete the checkout process to submit the retainer request:

  1. Click the pencil icon to make desired changes to the product information.

  2. Click Add Rx-Specific instructions to include additional notes for the lab regarding the retainer order.

  3. Click Proceed to Checkout.

  4. Confirm the doctor name, shipping address, and delivery date.

  5. Click Upload Files or Upload From Your Phone to add relevant patient files to the case.

  6. Click Place Order to submit the request, or click Save For Later to keep the order as a draft.
