Chairside TMJ/TMD Appliance Case Setup

Patient Selection

1. On your Chairside Home screen Click “Start”
2. Begin Typing Patients First and Last Name
   • If the Patient is already created, Click “Select” next to their name on the drop down menu.
     • If this is a refabrication Click the relevant case to refabricate and Navigate to (Place Refabrication Order Article)
     • If this is not a refabrication order, Click “order something new” at the bottom of the screen, then proceed to Product Selection
   • If the patient has not been created, proceed to step 3
3. Finish Typing the Patients Full First and Last Name
4. Select the relevant value from the “Gender” drop down
5. Enter patient’s birthday
6. Click “Create and Continue”

Product Selection

1. Select “Splints, Guards, & TMJ”
2. Click “TMJ”
3. Select the appropriate TMD/TMJ device
   • NTI
   • Anterior Deprogrammer
     • For NTI or Anterior Deprogrammer, Select the appropriate arch for the appliance
   • Dawson B-Splint
   • Gelb
4. Click “Next”

Final Stage

1. Click “Start Scanning”
