Optimal Operatory Positioning
Follow these positioning guidelines to maintain a clear line of sight during the procedure:
Scanner Placement: Position the scanner on the opposite side of the patient relative to where the provider is seated.
Monitor Visibility: This scanner positioning allows the provider to maintain a clear view of the laptop screen or Dandy Cart monitor throughout the scan.
Device Accessibility: Ensure the scanner, keyboard, mouse, or Dandy Cart remains within easy reach at all times.
Power Requirements
To prevent interruptions during scanning, follow these power protocols:
Wall Outlets: Keep the scanner, laptop, and Dandy Cart plugged into wall outlets while scanning.
Continuous Power: Do not rely on battery power alone during a clinical procedure.
