Overview: This guide explains how to use the "Lock" feature to capture data for multiple implant sites using only one scan body. The "Lock" process allows the software to retain previously scanned data while the clinician moves the physical scan body to a new position.

Capture the Emergence Profile

  1. Remove the healing caps from the implant sites.

  2. Select "Start scan" in the software.

  3. Begin scanning at an implant site to capture the emergence profile.

  4. Capture the surrounding gingiva and the contacts adjacent to the implant sites.

  5. Finish the full arch scan and verify the digital data contains no distortion.

  6. Select "Mark tooth," click the specific implant sites, and select "Next"
