Follow these steps to complete the implant workflow within the software:

Initial Case Setup

  • Start a New Case: Initialise the process within the system.

  • Add Patient Details: Enter the patient’s name and click OK.

  • Select Teeth: On the dental model (located on the left-hand side of the screen), select the applicable tooth numbers one at a time.

  • Define Restoration: Once a tooth is selected, go to the centre of the screen and choose Crown.

  • Implant Configuration: * From the dropdown menu titled ‘Implant-based?’, select either Stock or Custom Abutment.

    • A new box will appear; click this to enter the specific implant information (Brand, Connection, and Platform Size).

    • Click OK.

  • Material Selection: Choose the preferred crown material and shade from the dropdown list.

  • Repeat: Perform these steps for every restoration site in the case.

Scanning Procedure

  • Initiate Scan: Once all implants are configured, select New Scan in the top right-hand corner.

  • Follow Sequence: Adhere to the scanning flow displayed at the top centre of the page.

  • Capture Emergence Profile: For arches where implants will be placed, use the pre-op scan to capture the emergence profile.

  • Bite Registration: Ensure you take the bite scans prior to seating the scanbodies.

  • Place Scanbodies: After completing the pre-op scans for the treatment arches, place your scanbodies.

  • Scanbody Page: When you navigate to the scanbody scan page (top centre), the scan will initially appear in black and white.

Trimming and Finalising

  • Mark the Site: On the left-hand side, select the Mark Tooth icon (represented by a pushpin and a plus sign).

  • Highlight Areas: Click and hold your cursor over the restoration sites; they will turn green.

  • Trim Data: Select the Scissor icon on the left. This trims out the previously captured data to prime the scan for the new scanbody information.

  • Capture Scanbodies: Scan only the specific restoration sites where the scanbodies are present.

  • Finalise: When scanning is complete, click Finish at the top centre of the screen to finalise the data.

Submission

  • Send Order: Click Send Order.

  • Laboratory Form: The Dandy lab slip will appear on the screen. Fill out the prescription details thoroughly.

  • Submit: Click Send when finished.
