Ordering in Trios Unite for BYOD Customers

This guide outlines the step-by-step process to submit cases to Dandy using Unite software.

Step 1 - Setup Patient and Lab Details

  • Case Setup: Create a new patient profile or add a case under an existing patient.
  • Select Dandy Labs: Choose 'Dandy Labs' under 'Scan & Send' to ensure your case is correctly routed to Dandy

Step 2 - Select Clinical Case Details

  • Choose the type of restoration: fill out and select all relevant case details.
  • Saving and Setting a Delivery Date: Click "Save" and input a delivery date.
    • Note: While required in Unite, the 'Delivery Date' you select doesn't determine the actual delivery date of your restoration. Upon completing the case's lab slip, you'll see an estimated delivery time.

Step 3 - Scan the Patient

Step 4 - Submit Your Case

  • Analysis and Post-Processing: Utilize the analysis page to review your scans. Select "Post process" and "Send" for case submission.

Step 5 - Complete the Dandy Lab Slip

  • Begin by selecting the Doctor, delivery address, and confirm the patient details.

  • Make the required selections and set any preferences.

  • Select any extras you wish to add to the order: design preview, model, nightguard, bleaching trays, retainer, or sports guard.

  • Upload any relevant photos from the computer or QR code.

  • Note: Completing the Dandy lab slip entirely is essential for the case to move forward into planning and fabrication.
    • The order has been successfully placed once you click 'Place Order' in the bottom right corner.
