Step-by-step workflow
Step 1 - Choose 'Diagnostic scan' on the homepage of Chairside.
Step 2 - Add patient information.
Step 3 - Select the arch(es) you wish to scan. We recommend scanning both.
Step 4 - Complete required scans, following the sequence on Chairside.
Step 5 - Arrive at the 'Review' menu. Review scans with your patient.
- Tools to explore on the 'Review' menu while reviewing with your patient:
- Active HD scans - sharpen the detail and quality of your scans for a clearer view.
- Annotate scans - draw, circle, point, and add text directly to your scans.
- Bite analysis - display the patient's bite forces across their arches.
- Share scans with patient - share your scans digitally (SMS message or email) or generate a printable PDF to hand to your patient. Click here to learn more about this tool.
Step 6 - Select 'Save scans & exit' or 'Order using these scans'
- Selecting 'Save scans & exit' will store these scans for future use and orders. You can place orders directly from these scans in the future.
- Selecting 'Order using these scans' will prompt you to the ordering workflow, where you can order night guards, retainers, bleaching trays, and Digital Design Previews from these scans directly.
