Understanding the Invoicing Process with Dandy

At Dandy, we aim to make our billing process as transparent and straightforward as possible. This guide provides detailed information about when and how different products and services are invoiced, ensuring you can manage your practice's financial relationship with Dandy effectively.

Invoiced Same Day

Orders for products that are typically prepared by the dentist in one appointment and delivered in one appointment are invoiced on the same day the case is submitted. These products include: 

  • Crowns
  • Bridges
  • Implants
  • Night Guards 
  • Bleaching Trays
  • Sleep Apnea Appliances
  • TMD Appliances
  • Physical Wax-up
  • Printed Models

Note: All products must be submitted by 6:59 PM ET (3:59 PM PT) on the last day of the month to be included in that month's invoice.

Invoiced at Specific Treatment Stage

Orders for products that are typically prepared by the dentist over multiple appointments before final delivery are invoiced at specific stages of treatment. We have detailed each of those stages for specific products below: 

  • Partials: You will not be charged the full price upfront. Instead, you will be invoiced per stage of fulfillment.
    • Try-ins are invoiced the day they are submitted. 
    • Finals are invoiced on the day submitted to proceed to the final, post-feedback, or new scans.
  • Dentures: Invoiced on the day submitted to proceed to the final, post-feedback, or new scans.
    • Try-ins are invoiced the day they are submitted. 
  • Aligners: Invoiced once the treatment plan is approved.
  • Surgical Guides: Invoiced upon completion of review with our Experts. 

Note: All products must be submitted by 6:59 PM ET (3:59 PM PT) on the last day of the month to be included in that month's invoice.

Model Inclusions

Models are included at no charge for specific products under certain conditions, enhancing the value we offer. We've outlined those situations in detail below:

  • All implant cases
    • Dual full arch or single quad depending on tooth numbers
  • All inlay and onlay cases
    • Dual full arch or single quad depending on tooth numbers
  • All 3+ unit crown & bridge cases depending
    • Dual full arch OR dual quadrant OR single quad depending on tooth numbers
  • All layered material cases (PFZ, PFM, or PFE)
    • Dual full arch OR dual quadrant OR single quad depending on tooth numbers
  • All gold cases 
    • Dual full arch OR dual quadrant OR single quad depending on tooth numbers
  • All surgical guide cases 
    • Dual full arch model if implants are on both arches
    • Single arch model if implants are only on one arch
  • All night guard and retainer cases 
    • Dual full arch model if the order is for an upper AND lower
    • Single arch model if the order is for upper OR lower
  • All partial denture cases receive dual full-arch models

Cancellations, Holds, and Remakes

  • Order Cancellations: If an order is canceled before it enters fabrication, it will not appear on your invoice and will not be billed.
    • If an order is cancelled during fabrication or shipment, full case fee will be billed to your invoice.
  • On-hold Orders: Orders on hold when invoices are finalized will not appear on that month's invoice but will be included once fabrication resumes.
  • Remakes: If a case is submitted for remake, a fee will be added if there is a request to change the shade or material used.
