Understanding Payment Methods: Credit Card Processing Fees and ACH Debit Payments

Using a credit card as a payment method in the Dandy Portal is an available option, though it's important to be aware of the associated processing fees. On or after March 31, 2024, credit card payments will begin incurring a 2.9% processing fee. 

We're committed to providing payment optionality and have made it easier than ever to update your payment method to avoid a processing fee. There is no processing fee for paying via ACH or debit card. Update your billing payment method here.

Credit Card Fees: 2.9% Processing Fee

Beginning on or after March 31, 2024, credit card payments will incur a 2.9% monthly processing fee. You will see the processing fee as an additional line item on your monthly invoice.

ACH Debit Payments: No Processing Fee

ACH debit payments are the digital equivalent of paper checks. This secure and commonly used payment method can be more convenient, because unlike credit cards, ACH details do not expire, and are less likely to get lost or stolen. There is no processing fee for paying via ACH. If you'd like to update your payment method, you can do so here Update your billing payment method here.

With ACH, you will still be able to review your monthly invoice on the first of each month just like you do today, and your bank account will be automatically debited on the 8th of each month.

Alternatively, you may also use a debit card with no processing fee.

Is My Bank Information Secure?

Dandy never stores your financial account information. Details such as ACH bank account information or credit and debit card numbers are passed directly to Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe is a certified PCI Service Provider Level 1, which is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. Can I Change My Payment Due Date?

At this time, we are not able to change your payment due date. Payments will be processed on the 8th of each month. 

If there is a month where your funds won’t be available by the 8th, simply send an email to cxbilling@meetdandy.com before the 8th to authorize a one-time payment on a different date and our billing department will take care of that payment for you (your auto-charge will remain enabled).
