Overview: Resetting your password and setting up a primary user in the Dandy Portal ensures you can maintain secure access to your practice account. Use this process if you have lost your onboarding email or need to recover an existing account.
Submit a Password Reset Request
Navigate to the Dandy Practice Login Page.
Select Forgot password? at the bottom of the page to open the password recovery screen.
Enter the primary email address in the email field.
Select Continue to trigger the reset email.
Access the Reset Link
Open the primary email inbox and locate the email with the subject: Forgotten Password Reset.
Select the Reset Password link provided in the body of the email.
Create a New Password
Enter a new password in the password field.
Enter the same password in the confirmation field.
Select Submit to save the new credentials.
Set up the Primary User Account
If you are a first-time user or did not receive an onboarding email, complete these additional steps:
Enter the primary user’s mobile phone number when prompted.
Create a secondary backup password to use when SMS verification is unavailable.
Verify the Mobile Device
Check the primary user's mobile device for an SMS containing a six-digit verification code.
Enter the six-digit code on the Dandy Portal verification screen.
Select Enter to finalize the primary user setup.
