How to Upload an Image or a File to an Order

How to attach existing scans, files, or photos to an order.

Attach Scans, Files or Photos to an Order 

  1. Navigate to the patient's order on the Dandy portal.

  2. Select Upload file or image

  3. When the Upload image or file link is selected, you are automatically directed to the following menu. Use either the QR code or Select files button to attach scans.

  4. Once the files/scans/photos have been added the following screen will appear. (In this example, four files were selected and now appear on the right-hand side.) Click Next to proceed.

  5. You will now arrive at the following screen: How should the designer use the files? Each file has a drop-down menu associated with it, allowing you to categorize what the file is showing. (Note: For Dentures, Partials, or Aligners cases the only drop down selection will be "Scan")

  6. You have the option to Preview the attached scans/files (or use the trashcan icon to remove an uploaded file).

  7. Once the dropdown menus have been selected for each scan/file the following screen will appear. Select the checkmark at the bottom of the screen to acknowledge an adjusted delivery.

  8. Select Upload Files as New Order to complete the process.

  9. Finally you will receive a confirmation message on the lower lefthand corner confirming that the files have been successfully added to the order.
