Resolving Issues with a Blue Scanner Base Light

This article outlines the necessary steps to troubleshoot your Trios 3 scanner when the base light turns blue.

Basic Troubleshooting

  • First, confirm that the scanner is plugged into a live electrical outlet. It's a good idea to try a different outlet to ensure the issue isn't with the power source.
  • Disconnect the power cable from the scanner base and then reconnect it. This can often reset any temporary issues with the scanner.
  • Lastly, disconnect the scanner's ethernet cable from the laptop and reconnect it. This step ensures that the issue isn't due to a loose connection.
