Dandy’s digital denture workflows provide patients with high-quality, perfect-fitting full dentures in as little as two appointments. Once a denture is designed, it not only fits how you would expect it to, but it lives on forever and can be remade at any time.
Seating the denture
Seating a final denture in the mouth can be done using the following steps:
- Ensure that the denture is clean and free of any debris.
- Rinse your mouth with warm water before inserting the partial denture.
-
Gently place the denture in the mouth and use your fingers to guide it into place.
Avoid using excessive force or pushing the denture too far. - Gently bite down on the denture to ensure proper fit and stability.
-
Be sure to wear the denture as directed by your dentist, which may include
specific instructions on how long to wear it each day and when to remove it.
Cleaning and Care
DAILY CLEANING
Dandy recommends cleaning your dentures daily before and after every use. Immediately after removal, use warm water (not to exceed 45°C/113°F) and dishwashing soap to remove remaining saliva and debris from the device.
- Only use soft, antibacterial dish soap (liquid)
- Do not use flavored or scented soaps
- Do not use soaps with heavy dyes and colors
USING CLEANING AGENTS
For periodic debris removal and maintenance, use a soft bristle brush to clean the inside of your appliance for debris removal. The denture should be cleaned with antibacterial denture cleaning solutions like Polident and Efferdent. These cleaners are designed for use in brief sessions of 10–15 minutes. Always make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for proper use.
Do not use:
Avoid immersing the denture in, or cleaning it with, any of the following substances: sodium hypochlorite (chlorine bleach), hydrogen peroxide, mouthwash, or alcohol products. Using these can lead to discoloration and damage to the material.
Cautions

✗ DO NOT use abrasive cleaning agents (i.e., toothpaste), as they can shorten the life of your dentures.
✗ DO NOT smoke with the device inserted, as this can cause discoloration
✓ DO dispose of the cleaning solution after every use. Rinse your dentures well before use.
