Final Denture

Final Denture

Dandy’s digital dentures workflows provide patients with high-quality, perfect fitting full dentures in as little as two appointments. Once a denture is designed, it not only fits the way you would expect it to, but it lives on forever and can be remade at any time.

Seating the denture

Seating a final denture in the mouth can be done using the following steps:

  1. Ensure that the denture is clean and free of any debris.
  2. Rinse your mouth with warm water before inserting the partial denture.
  3. Gently place the denture in the mouth and use your fingers to guide it into place.
Avoid using excessive force or pushing the denture too far.
  4. Gently bite down on the denture to ensure proper fit and stability.
  5. Be sure to wear the denture as directed by your dentist, which may include
specific instructions on how long to wear it each day and when to remove it.

Cleaning and Care

Dandy recommends cleaning your dentures daily before and after every use.  Immediately after removal, use warm water (not to exceed 45°C/113°F) and soap to remove remaining saliva and debris from the device.

For periodic removal of debris and general maintenance, you may use any mild over-the-counter cleaning agents designed for oral devices. If needed, use a soft bristle brush to clean the inside of your dentures to remove any debris. The following products may be used to clean your partial dentures: dish soap, Polident, Efferdent, 3% peroxide solution, 15% bleach solution, and mouthwash.

DO NOT SOAK your dentures in any liquid for more than 1 hour.

DO NOT SOAK your dentures in water hotter than 45°C/113°F due to the risk of warping them.

DO NOT use abrasive cleaning agents (i.e. toothpaste) as it can shorten the life of your dentures.

DO dispose of the cleaning solution after every use. Rinse your dentures well prior to use.
