Setting up your preferred payment method is a key step in managing your transactions on the Dandy Portal. This guide will walk you through adding a bank account and setting it as your primary payment method.
Step 1 - Accessing Account Settings

Start by going to the Dandy Portal.

Click the 'Account Settings' (⚙️) icon and then 'Practice Settings'.
Step 2 - Linking a Bank Account
- Scroll to the bottom of the 'Practice Settings' page.
- Choose the 'Link bank account' option.
- In the popup window, enter your Routing number and Account number.
- Confirm the Account number and click 'Link bank account'.
- Note: Linking a bank account will automatically set it as the default payment method.
Step 3 - Setting Primary Payment Method
- If multiple payment methods are on file, navigate to the 'Payment methods' section of the 'Practice settings' to designate your preferred method as the primary option for transactions.
Notes on Payment Methods
While Dandy recommends using a bank account for payment due to no processing fees, you also have the option to link a debit or credit card.
- Please note: Using debit or credit cards may incur up to a 2.9% processing fee.
