Configure the Night Guard Case
To begin the case setup, follow these steps:
Select the Splints, Guards & TMJ option within the case setup menu.
Choose Night Guard from the available options.
The system prompts for the selection of the specific arch where the night guard will be fabricated.
Scan the Patient Arches
Follow the specific scanning sequence below to ensure the system captures all necessary data:
Lower Arch: Scan the full lower arch.
Upper Arch: Scan the full upper arch.
Bite: Capture the patient's bite registration.
Submit Order: Verify the data and proceed.
Capture Critical Surfaces
Successful night guard fabrication requires a complete scan of every aspect of the arch. The scan must capture the distal surfaces of the posterior-most teeth entirely to ensure the night guard fits accurately.
Complete the Night Guard Order
Finalize the request in the Ordering menu by selecting these details:
Enter the required quantity of night guards.
Choose the desired fabrication material.
