Overview: This guide explains how to use the Swap Scan Tool to switch upper and lower arch scans when they are recorded in the wrong software menus.
Prerequisites
Complete the scanning process for both the upper and lower arches.
Ensure both scans are visible in the software interface regardless of their current assigned menu.
Correct arch placement using Swap Scan Tool
Follow these steps to correct arch placement when the upper and lower scans are in the wrong positions.
Step 1: Complete both arch scans
Users must scan both the upper arch and the lower arch completely before the Swap Scan Tool becomes available. The Swap Scan Tool requires data from both scan menus to perform the swap.
Step 2: Access the Swap Arches button
Locate the "Swap Arches" button in the bottom right corner of the scanner software interface. Select the "Swap Arches" button to initiate the correction process.
Step 3: Confirm and finalize scan swap
Review the scans to confirm which arch data the software should move. Click the "Swap scan" button to finalize the update and move the arches to their correct scan menus.
